The power of unity: SWEM & the Order of the Pink Circle (OPC)

Welcome to the unified digital home of the Sistah'Hood Women's Empowerment Movement (SWEM) and the Order of the Pink Circle (OPC). While both organizations operate with their own distinct mission and vision statements, they are deeply rooted in the same soil. Together, they form a powerful alliance dedicated to the elevation, leadership, and emotional well-being of Black women.

How we intertwine: The bridge between movement & sanctuary

Our two organizations represent two sides of the same vital mission: balancing outward community impact with inward personal restoration. SWEM (the movement) focuses on the collective, outward journey. Its mission centers on building community initiatives, fostering collaborative global networking, and creating expansive environments where women can connect and lead.

OPC: The sanctuary for fierce protection

The Order of the Pink Circle (OPC) focuses on the intimate, inward journey. Its mission centers on the individual woman—fiercely protecting her space for personal growth, healing, and self-discovery. OPC is a sanctuary where Black women can find solace, build resilience, and nurture their emotional well-being.

Our shared vision: Empowering Black women collectively and individually

Together, SWEM and OPC offer a comprehensive approach to empowerment. We believe in strengthening the collective through outward action, while simultaneously nurturing the individual through inward restoration. This dual focus allows us to provide holistic support, addressing both the societal and personal needs of Black women.

"The synergy between SWEM and OPC has been transformative. It’s powerful to see how both organizations address the holistic needs of Black women, from community engagement to personal healing."
